An ex-cutter added to the navy as a sloop and employed mainly in the North Sea. During the 10 years of peace she was used in the revenue service for the suppression of smuggling. - From 1786 until 1789 she was commanded by Lieut. Robert BARLOW off the Cornish coast. He was promoted into CHILDERS on the same station.
- She was sold in January 1792.
