  • 1818 George Richard PECHELL, 26/05/1818, Halifax.
    BELLETTE was employed on fishery protection duties.
    In 1820 Capt. PECHELL was moved to TAMAR (26) which had arrived in Halifax from Jamaica, her captain, Arthur SNOW, and 75 of her crew having died during the voyage. He returned to BELLETTE after six months and she paid off in Plymouth at Christmas 1821.
    During her time off the coasts of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia BELLETTE captured about twenty vessels.
