  • 1834 Master John HALCROW (act), 06/1834, Lieut. Jeremiah M'NAMARA, Cape and Coast of Africa.
    On 17 December 1834 M'NAMARA captured the Spanish Brig FORMIDABLE with 707 slaves only 400 of which survived. The IBERIA was taken on 2 February and the BIEN VENDIDA on 28 March 1835.
  • 1835 Lieut. Patrick CAMPBELL, 07/1835, Cape and Coast of Africa.
    The slavers SEMIRAMIS and NORMA were taken on 2 September and 27 November 1835.
    On 22 July 1836 a boat from BUZZARD with Mate Sam. WOOLDRIDGE and five men captured the Portuguese slaver JOVEN CAROLINA carrying 422 slaves.
    On 28 Oct. the OLIMPIA with 282 slaves and on 12 Nov. the SEREA with 22 were taken.
