  • 1848 Lieut. Edmund GLYNN, 05/1847, Coast of Africa.
    Captured a slaver on 14 January 1848.
    Because of false papers it was difficult to determine her true name, possibly THE WANDERING JEW.
    Four were taken in 1848 NOVA ROSA on 28 July, ROMDESTING on 19 September and NEW PACKET on 4 October.
    DESPIGNE was taken on 11 May 1849 and TENTADOR on 19 August, the latter capture being made with the boats of SNAP in company.
