ELIZABETH (12) Schooner Taken from the French in 1806 Lost in 1814.
  • 1809 Lieut. Charles FINCH, Leeward Is.
    On 17 December 1809 she joined the squadron off the Bay of Anse la Barque, Guadeloupe, where two French frigates had taken refuge.
    (see HAZARD) ELIZABETH took soundings at the entrance to the bay and found a safe anchorage for BLONDE and THETIS when they entered to engage the frigates and forts.
    In the afternoon she helped to tow the boats of the squadron into the shore.
    The naval medal was awarded to all the ships taking part.
    Lieut. Edward F. DWYER, Leeward Is.
    On 24 November 1812 she captured the schooner LAURA.
  • 1814 Lieut. Jonathan Widdicombe DYER, Leeward Is.
    ELIZABETH capsized in the West Indies during October 1814.
