    He was in action with the Flushing flotilla on 16 May 1804.
    Two ship-rigged praams, nineteen schooners, and thirty-eight schuyts were steering along the shore towards Ostend and were attacked by Sir Sidney SMITH's squadron.
    (See CRUIZER and RATTLER.) He reported that Lieut. GARRETY and Lieut. PATFUL, who commanded the other cutter, STAG, did their best with their small guns against greater numbers of greater calibre.
