    In 1807 FERVENT was at Oporto and on 1 October she gave chase to three Spanish row-boats.
    About 12 miles to the southward of Oporto the NARCISSUS came up as the boats anchored close in shore.
    The cutter from NARCISSUS went in to bring them out supported by FERVENT, which approached within a musket shot, but they ran on shore and their crews escaped over the beach leaving the boats wrecked in the surf.
  • She took part in attack on French Fleet in Basque Roads 11-12 April 1809 and bombarded French vessels grounded in Charente.
