    At the the end of June 1800 he brought into Fowey the LORD MIDDLETON of London to which port she had been bound with a cargo of cocoa, indigo, coffee, sugar and quicksilver from New Providence when she had been taken by a French privateer. MARIA had recaptured her within two hours sail of Bordeaux. The cargo was valued, per manifest, at 45,000 pounds.
