  • 1757 Cdr. John CLELAND, taken by the French privateer LE MACHAULT off Brest on 19 April. All her guns had been secured as it was blowing hard and her deck was awash so she could make no resistance. Re-captured in October 1757 by LANCASTER and DUNKIRK, and renamed ZEPHYR.
  • 1778 Cdr. Thomas WEST, again taken by the French, retaken in 1780 and burnt.
