  • 1793 Capt. J. WHITBY, with Rear Ad. CORNWALLIS's flag, East Indies.
    MINERVA, assisted by three East Indiamen, blockaded the French base of Pondicherry in India from 1 August and, when the governor refused to surrender, bombarded the town from the 20th. until he finally capitulated on the 23rd.
  • 1795 Capt. PEYTON, 09/1795.
  • 1798 Capt. MACKELLER, 04/1798.
    MINERVA took part in the attack on Ostend in May 1798.
