  • 1810 Lieut. WELLS, Leeward Is.
    On 22 February 1810 MORNE FORTUNEE delivered an ultimatum to the Vice-governor at Saba in the Dutch Antilles and at 4 AM he surrendered the island to the brig and Lieut. WELLS hoisted the English colours ashore.
