  • Captured from the French by RUBY on 2 June 1779 in the West Indies.
    Sold 1803) 1781 Capt. William WALDEGRAVE, with Rear Ad. KEMPENFELT's squadron which sailed on 2 December, cruising off Ushant to intercept a heavily escorted French convoy.
    The French warships were to leeward when the British attacked and could only watch helplessly as 15 valuable transports were captured.
