  • 1825 Capt. Hon. Henry John ROUS, 30/07/1825, Chatham for the East Indies.
    RAINBOW visited every part of the East Indies station and Capt. ROUS discovered a river with a good anchorage to the northward of Sydney to which he gave the name Richmond.
  • She arrived at the Cape on 10 June 1829 on her way home full of invalids and other passengers. She continued her voyage five days later, calling at St. Helena on the 25 June and Ascension on 2 July. She reached Spithead on 10 August.
  • RAINBOW was put out of commission at Portsmouth on 25 August 1829.
