    Tender to SULPHUR 1837 -39.
    (See SULPHUR for details) On 28 July 1839 STARLING and SULPHUR arrived off the mouth of the Columbia River to carry out a survey of the area.
    Both vessels were damaged by grounding, that to STARLING was so bad that she was forced to navigate the 100 miles of waterway to Fort Vancouver for repair.
