  • 1693 Cdr. Richard ATHY, he was promoted to this command on 31 May, by Sir Francis WHEELER in the West Indies, having been second lieutenant in ADVICE (42).
  • 1693 Cdr. Thomas BLAKE, 14 December 1693. he remained in the same ship for 10 years, being lost in her at Bristol during the Great Storm on 27 November 1703. The total loss at that port was computed at nearly 150,000 pounds. Sir Richard HADDOCK recorded in a letter, "Poor Tom Blake was drowned at Bristol."
