  • 1699 Capt. Edmund (or Edward) LETCHMERE. He was first appointed on 16 March and twice more reappointed to the same vessel, on 9th. July 1700 and 26th. May 1701. After the accession of Queen Anne he removed to the LYME.
  • 1706 Capt. George GRANARD. In 1708 he was promoted to be captain of the SUNDERLAND.
  • 1707 Capt. Archibald HAMILTON, appointed on 12 January. (not to be confused with Lord Archibald HAMILTON of the SHEERNESS, LITCHFIELD etc.)
  • 1708 Capt Henry BLINSTONE, appointed on 28 February.
