  • 1740 Cdr. Benjamin FENWICK, March. On 26th. October 1740 she sailed from St. Helen's for the West Indies with Sir C. OGLE's fleet. When the fleet returned to Jamaica following the siege of Carthagena, Cdr. FENWICK was promoted to the command of the BRISTOL (50) on 8 June.
  • 1741 Cdr. William BOYS or BOYCE, October, W. Indies.
    Took part in the attack on Cartagena in March 1741.
