  • 1794 Capt. Sir Edmond NAGLE. With Commodore Sir John WARREN off the French coast.
    Early in 1795 Cdr. George BYNG acted as captain ARTOIS during the absence of Capt. NAGLE. The EXPEDITION of 16 guns and 160 men, formerly a British packet but now a French national man of war, was taken by ARTOIS and GALATEA off Rochefort on 16 April 1795.
  • ARTOIS was wrecked on the French coast on 31 July 1797. Her crew were saved.
