    Arrived at Portsmouth with dispatches from Sir James SAUMAREZ in Guernsey On 27 December 1803, sailed again for Jersey 14 January 1804.
    On 12 October 1806 BRITANNIA weighed with CONSTANCE, SHELDRAKE and STRENUOUS from the anchorage at Chansey to reconnoitre St. Malo. They gave chase to a sail of Cape Frehel and in the action which followed destroyed the French frigate LA SALAMANDRE.
