    As TONNANT, captured at the same time, came out of the Great Parlby Dock north of the Dockyard at Plymouth on 23 December 1802, ready for commissioning, CONQUERANT had been broken down to her lower gun deck and all her serviceable knees, bends and timbers had been piled for further service.
