  • 1814 Capt. Edward Durnford SMITH, 11/1814.
    The bad state of his health prevented him undertaking the voyage to India so he resigned the appointment.
    Capt. Samuel DIGBY, East Indies.
  • 1815 Capt. John BAYLEY, flagship of Rear Ad. Sir George BURLTON, East Indies.
    When Sir George died, and in the absence of Capt. SAYER of LEDA, Capt. Robert O'BRIEN removed himself from WELLESLEY to CORNWALLIS on 1 November 1815 and, hoisting the broad pennant of a commodore, assumed command in Indian waters. He sent to England in WELLESLEY the leaders of a mutiny on board CORNWALLIS and commissioned CAMELEON, appointing a lieutenant to command her.
  • On 6 April 1816 a court martial assembled aboard CORNWALLIS in Madras Roads to try Capt. Robert O'BRIAN. He was found guilty of direct disregard and violation of the Naval Instructions and dismissed the service, but was reinstated in March 1817.
  • 1817 Capt. John REYNOLDS, Plymouth.
  • 1818 Out of commission at Plymouth.
    In 1855 she was converted to a 60-gun screw ship.
    Later she was used as a jetty at Sheerness and, renamed WILDFIRE, she was used as a base ship during WW1.
