  • Capt. George PIGOT. She sailed with BLENHEIM and HAZARD on 12 January 1807 to take Vice Ad. Sir Thomas TROUBRIDGE from Madras to the Cape of Good Hope.
    BLENHEIM had been declared unfit to go to sea but the admiral had overridden the advice of Capt. BISSELL and insisted on sailing. HAZARD lost sight of her two consorts in a gale off Rodriguez Is. on 5 February and they were not seen again. The joint crews amounted to at least 1,000 people. The admiral's son searched the Indian Ocean for his father in GREYHOUND.
