  • 1800 (armed en flute) Capt. Valentine COLLARD, 02/1800, Mediterranean. She took part in the reduction of Genoa and the expedition to Egypt.
    VESTAL paid off on 26 April 1802 and through the peace she was out of commission at Woolwich.
  • 1805 Capt. Steven Thomas DIGBY, North Sea.
    On 16 and 17 March 1806 the boats of VESTAL made several unsuccessful efforts to rescue the crew of a merchant brig FRIENDSHIP which had been driven on to the Gunfleet near Harwich.
    On the 18th. a boat commanded by Lieut. Rowland MONEY was swamped by a heavy breaker whilst making another attempt but he eventually managed to secure a grapnel under the vessels lee.
    A rope was passed and the shipwrecked crew were hauled on board.
