  • 1778 She was with Ad. Augustus Keppel's fleet in the action with the French under d'Orvilliers off Ushant on 27 July 1778.
  • 1779 Capt. George TALBOT, East Indies. She sailed for the East Indies with Rear Ad. Sir Edward HUGHES's squadron, leaving St. Helens on 7 March.
    On 17 February she took part in the action with Suffrein's squadron off Sadras and on 12 April the action off Providien.
    Later in the year Capt. Charles WOOD.
    On 3 September WORCESTER, being the rear ship in HUGHES' squadron, was attacked by VENGEUR (64), and CONSOLANTE (36) from Suffrein's squadron but Capt. John ALMS in MONMOUTH (64) dropped back to assist her. The French ships hauled off when VENGEUR's mizzen top caught fire. Capt. WOOD was killed in the subsequent general action.
  • On 20 June 1783, under Capt. Charles HUGHES, she took part in the action with the French fleet off Cuddalore. News of the peace treaty which had been signed on 20 January did not reach Cuddalore until 29 June.
  • 1788 Store hulk at Deptford, broken up there in December 1816.
