Foundered in 1704.

  • Capt. Edmund D'OYLEY was appointed on the prospect of a rupture with France and sent to the West Indies where he contracted an illness which proved fatal on his return. He died, aged 29, at Bath on 10 May 1703.
  • Capt. David WAVELL. COLCHESTER foundered at sea and the captain, and most of his crew were lost, on 16 January 1704.
