  • 1755 Capt. Marriot ARBUTHNOT, cruiser off Virginia.
  • 1758 Capt. Christopher Codrington BETHELL, 16th. October. He changed his name from Codrington to Bethell in 1758 in consequence of inheriting an estate.
  • 1758 Capt John RUSHWORTH, who was promoted from being a lieutenant in the HAPPY sloop on 7th. December, and was employed as a cruiser. He was promoted to ALARM (32), in 1761.
  • 1759 Capt. Thomas SHIRLEY, promoted to Post-Captain in GARLAND, 19th. November,he soon after removed to KINGSTON (60).
