  • 1734 Capt. DURELL, appointed in November. A letter from Jamaica in 1742 stated "On the arrival of the GIBRALTAR here with Dispatches in the end of September, Ad. Vernon proposed to sail for England Oct. 20, and Gen. Wentworth soon after."
  • 1744 Capt. Richard CHADWICK from the DRAKE sloop, appointed in January he removed to the CORNWALL in the following July.
  • 1744 Capt. Richard COLLINS, from the GRAMPUS sloop on 7th. July.
  • 1744 Capt. Conningsby NORBURY, 27th. November.
  • 1745 Capt. John BARKER, appointed 19 September, and early in the spring of 1746 he convoyed the Hessian troops ordered for Scotland. He was promoted to the THETIS (40), in June 1747. 1746 Capt. Frederic HYDE, 11th. November.
