  • 1760 Capt. Robert CARKET, On 3 April 1762 the HUSSAR frigate attacked four ships lying under a fort in Tiberon Bay, one of which, carrying sixteen guns, he burnt, sunk another of fourteen guns, cut out one of sixteen guns and another of twelve and carried them to Jamaica. In this desperate enterprise the HUSSAR had one man killed and twelve wounded, whereas the French had seventeen killed and thirty-five wounded. But most of the crews escaped ashore in their boats during the engagement.
  • Captured by the French in May 1762.
