Sold in 1755.

  • 1739 Cdr. Richard SYM(M)ONDS. Carolina and New Providence in the Bahamas. 1740 Cdr. J. SWAYSLAND, Deptford, fitting out in July and August. In the middle of September she was at Milford Haven, with orders to cruise between that place and Lundy Island and to convoy ships to Ireland and Bristol. 1740 Cdr. Blumfield BARRADELL (or BORROWDELL), stationed at Gibraltar as a cruiser, promoted to command the PHOENIX frigate in July 1744.
  • 1744 Cdr. Robert HUGHES, promoted to command KINGSTON (50), in April 1745.
  • 1752 Cdr. John FALKINGHAM, Barbados. When SHARK was paid off to be sold in England at the end of 1755 he was appointed to the TRIAL sloop and returned to the West Indies.
