Hello Patrick,
Here is a thought. On our computer at home, we have this forum set up so that it is in 'Favourites'. We simply click on it and it takes us straight to this forum. The problem is that there is no link with your main website, www.ageofnelson.org - that seems a huge pity. It should be very easy to go backwards and forwards between the forum and the main website. If there is a link, then it is not clear! You have such a wealth of information and resources on the main website that it is a shame not to have an easy link. You have a link to the forum from the main website, but not vice versa.
Can this be done?
All the best,
Roy |

Dear Roy,
In fact if you click on the upper banner (with the ships) you'll go directly to the website.
I'll add a more explicit link as you suggest.

That would be much better! Too subtle otherwise...

So no more excuses. |

Patrick,
Roy's suggestion and your response are / were both helpful; I wonder, if it were not too much hassle, whether it may still further improve `flow to and fro' were it possible to superimpose a descriptor / link on one of the two panels to the on-screen right of the panel labelled `forum'.
Not a life and death issue, but, to Roy's point, may expose even more of your visitors / readers / contributors, to the wealth of materials you have amassed and made available.
best,
Alexli |
