I have inherited a hand blown wine glass with "Success to the Eagle" etched over an old ship. Any ideas which 'Eagle' this may be? I am from the Portsmouth area in the UK. Thanks |

The best known EAGLE was probably Rodney's ship built in 1746 and in which he made his early reputation. He was a free spender when he wasn't dodging his creditors. _________________ Ionia |
