From 19 October 2007 to 16 March 2008 the Library of the University of Pennsylvania held an exhibition: Emma Hamilton path to fame.
See http://www.library.upenn.edu/exhibits/emma.html.
Most of the exhibits come from the collection of Jean Hart Kislak, one of the best EH collection worlwide. She also financed the EH monument in Calais, France, dedicated in April 1994 by the 1805 Club.
To late to attend but the good news are that the fully illustrated catalogue is available.
Just send an email to Mrs Gottschalk (gottsch3@pobox.upenn.edu) and you'll receive a copy for FREE.
This is for real, I just received my copy.

Which is both elegant and rather kind!
Thanks for the alert on that PM.
Hope other Emma enthusiasts will also note this generous offer? |
